Juglans sp., Graphite on Vellum by Martha G. Kemp

Martha G. Kemp enjoys the challenge of using graphite pencil to create lively portraits of botanical subjects. She has exhibited widely in the US and has received many awards, including the Bouchier ASBA Founder’s Award for Excellence in Botanical Art (1999) and five Gold Medals from the UK’s Royal Horticultural Society, most recently in 2007. Sutton. She currently serves on the ASBA Board of Directors.

A catalog of the artwork and profiles of the artists is available online from the ASBA for $20 plus shipping & handling.
