by Mindy Lighthipe
Mindy Lighthipe specializes in Botanical and Natural History paintings. In 2009 she received a Silver Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society for her series “Symbiosis - Plants and Butterflies”. “Mindy Lighthipe’s work is reminiscent of 18th century artists such as Catesby and Marie Sybilla Merian. Her insects are fantastic,” stated the Royal Horticultural Society Jury Committee.
