Living and working on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, Sherry Mitchell has painted for almost forty years. Her botanical subjects include the cultivated and native flora of British Columbia. She is a published botanical and children’s book illustrator, a Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, a member of Botanical Artists of Canada, ASBA, International Guild of Realism, and Island Illustrators Society. She has participated in and received awards for her work shown in exhibitions throughout North America.
